JD Lasica left the Sacramento Bee a dozen years ago for a life of Internet start-ups, including OurMedia.org. He runs the Social Media Group, a consultancy specializing in bringing social media to corporations, NGOs and organizations. He’s a regular on the media conference circuit and is well known worldwide as an authority on new media and especially social media.
